10th December 2009 – press conference and gala soirée
The winners of individual categories were announced in the evening hours of 10th December during the gala soirée in the “Knight hall” of the Senate of the Czech Republic. The city of Prague has welcomed for the eight time the meeting of the leading world scientists, industrialist, politicians and academicians.
Česká hlava company (Czech Mind) organized the 8th European Forum for Science and Technology. The forum took place on 28th May 2009 at the University of Economics in Prague. About 350 people came to listen to the interesting speeches of great names such as:
Kurt Wüthrich – The Nobel Prize laureate – he is a member of the Innovating Minds jury,
Dominique Langevin - director of research of CNRS (French National Scientific Research Center) and the ambassador of the European Year of creativity and innovation,
Helene Richardsson - ICT – strategist at the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (Health).
